Confidentiality

Alalim Legal is bound by a strict fiduciary duty to its clients. Whenever information about a client or company needs to be shared with a third party, we make a specific effort to keep details, names and specifics of (individuals at) client companies and which group of companies it may concern confidential. If our client is a claimant or respondent in proceedings, or where contact is required with specific (governmental) institutions on its behalf, it may become necessary to disclose some case specific information to such third parties. In the case of court cases and arbitral proceedings, procedural documents must be communicated with counterparties, the courts or tribunals, and at times with bailiffs and similar institutions. In such situations, our clients are always contacted to discuss any such disclosure before we proceed.
